A Telecommunications Company is seeking a Wireless Engineer II in Englewood, CO.
Role Description
We are seeking a Wireless Engineer 2 to join our Customer Provided Equipment WiFi Development team in the Englewood, CO office. Ideally we are looking for a skilled, Wireless Network Engineer with experience creating repeatable test cases and someone who is motivated to help us improve processes and create best standards within our lab.
You will be working inside the Wi-Fi Team for our telecommunications client, supporting Customer Provided Equipment (CPE Devices/routers) testing and development. As a member of the Firmware and Feature Development Team, you will be working directly with router hardware and our test tools to develop and validate test cases that certify features as they are developed on routers. This job requires intrinsic motivation, a lot of self-directed achievement and an ability to work with a dynamic, fast-paced work load.
--- Ability to understand requirements and develop test plans and test cases.--- Understanding and administration of test equipment.--- Assist in automation of test cases--- Analysis and processing of test results.--- Work with vendors to ensure adequate support and resolution of bugs
Skills & Requirements
--- Familiarity with RF communication.--- Familiarity with Wireshark and analysis of packet captures.--- Ability to troubleshoot issues methodically and understand the root cause.--- Basic scripting skills, preferably in python.--- Strong verbal and written communication skills.--- Willingness to work in a lab environment.--- Ability to work with members across teams.
