About this role
What you will be responsible for?
The Senior Manager, HR Integration and Systems draws on their
expertise as a strategic thinker, project manager and technical
subject matter expert to provide global governance of HR processes
and supporting applications and data. This role works to understand
and balance various stakeholder needs from across the company in
resolving appropriate standards and strategic directions for the HR
function's business processes and technology. The position also
works closely with global managers to continue to build compliance
with global HR process standards.
Key outcomes include:
- Globally consistent, best practice, HR processes are developed
and implemented from a technological standpoint.
- Timely and effective management of SAP HR and SuccessFactors
access and governance, including security role definition and
compliance with SOX controls.
- Engagement with HR and business stakeholders to identify and
progress process improvement, integration and system requirements.

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
Continuous Improvement
- Work directly with Regional Business Process Owners (RBPOs),
Center of Expertise (COE) Leads, IT and cross-functional Global
Business Process Owners (GBPOs) to identify and progress process
and technology improvements.
- Recommend and implement innovative processes or improvements
that support the goals and objectives of the HR function and
workforce experience.
- Provide input to the development and refinement of HR policies
and processes from a global systems and data perspective.
- Identify and drive data process and workflow improvements in
the HR systems. HR Technology Enhancements
- Conduct HR functional requirements for global SuccessFactors
enhancements and implementation of SuccessFactors modules.
- Liaise between Newmont end-users and application technical
staff in the functional analysis, design, testing and maintenance
of applications to ensure optimal system performance is delivered
and sustained.
- Provide input on the prioritization of enhancements/projects
for global processes and applications as part of the broader HR
technology roadmap.
- Integrate regional requirements and priorities within a global
roadmap context. Standards and Governance
- Lead development and maintenance of SuccessFactors governance
standards and activities, including role-based permissions and
controls.
- Maintain audits of business process performance across regions
and identify performance gaps.
- Establish and maintain global documentation and process
compliance.
- Provide input to data definitions and governance. Project
Management
- Conduct semi-annual SuccessFactors release updates, including
reviewing impacts, engaging stakeholders and coordinating testing
and change-management.
- Lead SuccessFactors enhancements and HR global business systems
projects.
- Partner with IT to align on Service Level Agreements and
support delivery of business results.
- Coordinate and support non-HR IT Projects from a business owner
and stakeholder perspective. The above duties and responsibilities

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT or related field.
- Deep knowledge of human resources processes typically in
managerial capacity as well as expertise in the use and support of
the related ERP modules, methods and procedures.
- Understanding of Global ERP Support models and deployment
methodologies. Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant human resources experience or
combination or 12 years of combination of education and experience
in process design and technology support.
- Experience working in teams with system implementation and
business professionals.
- Experience working with global ERP or other computer based
human resources systems.
- Experience working in Mining, utilities or other heavy industry
is preferred. Skills and Abilities:
- Progressive ability to engage and manage stakeholders across
the business, particularly HR function and broad internal and
external partners.
- Progressive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and inspire change at multiple levels
across the organization.
- Ability to investigate and analyze organizational needs.
- Progressive communication (written and verbal) and
interpersonal skills.
- Progressive computer literacy skills, including the ability to
efficiently use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Visio).
- Strong customer focus and customer management skills.
- Ability to lead and work efficiently with third party vendors,
service providers and consultants.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the frequent out of normal
office hours requirements as part of the organization. Working

- The primary location for this position is the Denver corporate
office, but qualified candidates in proximity to one of our
regional offices or operations in North America are encouraged to
