Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Generalist will join a dynamic team of human resource professionals who work collaboratively to support the growth of our business. You will be responsible for the support of supervisors, managers, and other HR staff. The responsibilities consist of policy interpretation and enforcement, training, employee relations, and overseeing performance evaluation process and compensation program. The role provides the unique opportunity to lend your experience and skills to our department---s continued growth. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise, coach, and consult with supervisors and managers on employee concerns and issues regarding policies, practices, terminations, discipline, compensation, and performance Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures Understand HRIS and report on various data for management Train employees and managers on HR related policies, legislation and HRIS Partner with field leadership to mitigate and decrease escalated employee relations concerns Handle employee relations concerns by investigating, resolving, and communicating with proper parties Identify areas where HR related processes could be improved or made more efficient for end-users Perform effective and concise exit interviews with all professional and field salary employees departing the organization and evaluate trends Administer and train on performance evaluation and compensation programs Administer and record recognition and incentive programs Interpret and clarify employment standards questions and queries, and ensure compliance to such legislation Support employees with benefit plan enrollment and questions Coach and train HR staff on policy and practices Other duties as required by management EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 - 5 years--- HR Generalist experience in the industry or similar required, with experience in renewable energy/ industrial construction considered an asset Bachelor---s degree, with focus of HR, preferred Experience with HRIS/payroll software systems such as UltiPro and Viewpoint required PHR or SHRM-CP designation preferred REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Skilled in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office 365 Demonstrated ability to provide beneficial recommendations to solve HR related issues related to regulations, laws, and policies Excellent critical thinking/problem solving/analysis skills Must be able to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of the organization Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR functions and best practices Ability to maintain confidentiality and credibility Travel up to 25-50% of time BENEFITS: Paid Company Holidays Paid Sick Leave Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution Salary $70,000 - $80,000 annually dependent on experience, qualifications and competencies Company Description Company Overview: Primoris Services Corporation (Primoris) is ranked in the top 10% of the prestigious Top 600 Specialty Contractors List by Engineering News Record (ENR), having built projects throughout the United States as well as Latin America, South and Central America, and South East Asia.
