  • Conduct and oversee orientation and on-boarding for new hires
  • Provide current and prospective employee with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits
  • Prepares new employee files and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local labor, hiring, and screening mandates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to make certain that all staff have received training and personnel records are accurate
  • Support with all HR related paperwork e.g. for new hires, terminations, and employee changes
  • Ensure HR data integrity, support employee access to HRIS
  • Provide internal reports for department leads and senior management
  • Provide general support related to human resources including file management, data entry, training/certification/physical tracking and benefits enrollment
  • Arranges for medical exam, and ensures consistent compliance with Mile High Early Learning, State of Colorado and federal regulations; follows up on background to ensure expedient processing and compliance; performs employment verification and appropriate documentation
  • Back up to company recruiter
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Required Qualifications:
    • Associates degree (Bachelor's preferred), or qualified experience in human resources, business administration or related field
    • Demonstrated effective communication and employee relations skills
    • Two (2) years experience in HR with a focus on general HR exposure
    • Proficiency with computer-based software including Word, Excel, and Windows and the ability to learn in-house computer software
    • Extensive data entry skills, spreadsheet, and word processing proficiency
    • Proficient skills with Microsoft Suite software, including database experience
    • Demonstrated customer service skills, ability to relate effectively and tactfully with all levels of the organization
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written communications
    • Ability to work individually and as a team member
    • Clearance of CBI/Central Registry check and post-employment physical
    • Reliable vehicle for transportation, valid driver's license and current State of Colorado automobile insuranceDesired Qualifications / Skills / Licenses / Certifications:
      • Data entry and general office function experience
      • Ability to read, write, and compile report data
