Director, Human Resources Location US-CO-Denver ID 2021-13783 Type Regular Full-Time Category Human Resources Overview The Director, Human Resources establishes and maintains effective relationships with assigned business division to support achievement of current and long term goals. The Director of Human Resources assists in making policy recommendations, directing and coordinating human resources activities such as employment, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors under the guidance of the Region Vice President of Human Resources. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning and development of effective human resource strategies and policies. Assists senior management in the development of short and long-term objectives and goals. Is the single point of contact for the Business Leaders in the location.
• Partners with peer HR business partners to ensure alignment and collaboration on talent management processes across all business divisions; Supports and drives talent management agenda including workforce planning, employee relations and employee development.
• Communicates and trains on all company policies.
• Proactively supports the delivery and implementation of HR processes in collaboration with the Management team.
• Manages the HR team in the market; assigns duties, provides direction and training to the direct reports.
• Ensures compliance with HR policies/practices. Stays current and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Consults and participates in employee disciplinary actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resource Management or its equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in related area
  • Union experience required
    • Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
    • PHR certification preferred
