Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: CST/ORT Certification Certifications: Must possess current certification Must-Have: Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed. Self-direction. Orthopedic/Joint experience. Description: This position is for a travel CST in the operating room. Weekends are required, with shifts available on Fridays to Sundays or Saturdays to Mondays. The unit has 14 operating rooms and a staff of approximately 70 full-time equivalents. Patient ratios are 1:1, although this is an estimate and not guaranteed. The type of equipment used includes EMR and Meditech. A high level of accountability and expertise is expected from all staff members. Team players are preferred. Call may be required. The role includes participation in a variety of surgical procedures with the exception of cardiovascular, neuro, and transplant cases. Candidates with level I and trauma experience will be prioritized during the selection process.
