Position Summary: To provide a high level of service to our customer, the below duties are to be performed during your shift. This list is not exclusive, and everyone should use his or her best judgements while making the best decisions for his or her shift and for the overall operation. Major Responsibilities: View and respond to E-Mails and Teams messages at the beginning and throughout your shift in a timely manner. Check Ring Central for text messages and Voicemails. Answer Phone and assist drivers. Update dispatch sheet, from Teams files Monitor driver's locations via XRS. Hand out straps as needed. Monitor customer service and ensure staff are adhering to company policies. Post Dispatch drivers as needed to correct loads. Report Call Outs, delays (on road, loading etc.) Smart Drive Coaching with assistance from manger Driver engagement Establish and enforce safety and security protocols. Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a timely manner. Manage Bills of Lading / Proof of Deliveries (Handing out, receiving back from drivers.) Clear up Mileage Variance Complete daily/weekly Observations Keep up with drivers DQ file. (Hand out authorization forms) Keep up with drivers training tacker. Assist with Smith System behind the wheel training. Monitor and manage yard management system. Help with all other tasks as assigned by management. Schedule : Mon - Sat 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Hours vary depending on business needs) Salary : $22-24/hr Benefits: http://penske.jobs/benefits Opening date: 8/1/24 - 9/30/24 Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Post secondary education preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Must possess excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Strong written/oral communication skills are required Strong customer service skills required. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
