We would love to talk to you about this fantastic opportunity. -- About the Level II NICU:-- auto;line-height:normal;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in"> Busy Level II NICU with average census of 33 infants.-- auto;line-height:normal;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in"> Census comprised of higher acuity, complex infants as well as infants requiring feeding and weight stabilization. auto;line-height:normal;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list .5in"> Position requires floating to the Level IV NICU -- The NICU II RN oversees and directs the care of the neonatal patient.-- The NICU II RN is responsible for the care of premature and ill neonate patients meeting level II admissions criteria; serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care; oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.-- When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. -- Licensure/Certification/Registration:Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse--BLS --- Healthcare providerNRP required within the first 3 months of hire and maintained as current through employment in the NICU.----Education:----

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.--Experience:
    • One-year experience in neonatal care, preferred.--
    • One-year of acute care experience, strongly preferred-- --Special Qualifications:
      • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members.
      • Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
