Position Summary: This position supports the mission
ofPresbyterian/St Lukes Medical Center of optimizing the quality of
life of allthose served by expanding beyond the traditional focus
on medical care to meetthe needs of the whole person. The
EmergencyDepartment RN oversees and directs the care of all
patients presenting toEmergency Department. Serves as primarynurse
leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated
patientcare. Oversees and directs the care ofassistive personnel,
maintaining final accountability for the care given toassigned
patients. Within the first yearthe RN will have gained basic
emergency and emergency department pathways,knowledge and skill
sets. When the needarises, will perform other duties as assigned by
Presbyterian/St. Lukes Medical Center andRocky Mountain Hospital
