behavioral health hospital offering psychiatric care for adults and
adolescents. Centrally located near C-470 & Quebec Street in

Highlands Behavioral is currently looking for PRN Experiential
Therapists - Dance/Rec/Art/Music/OT
The Experiential Therapy Department (ET) is a team of recreational,
art, occupational health, dance/ movement, and music therapists. An
ET staff coordinates and leads patient activities in the
Experiential Therapy program to facilitate rehabilitation for a
diverse patient population. The ET therapist follows policies,
procedures, standards and objectives for patient treatment per
hospital guidelines and the patient s specific treatment plan. An
ET staff member directs patient participation in structured groups
or activities designed to facilitate emotional, physical, and

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 1 to 2 years hospital experience in a psychiatric setting.
* Recreation Therapist must have degree in Recreational Therapy and
national registration or State of Colorado registration with a
recognized therapeutic organization. Dance, music, art, and
occupational therapy also qualify.
* Knowledge of rehabilitation programs and planning required.
* Must be eligible to sit for certification/licensure exam.
