Inpatient Acute Dialysis Nurse(s) needed to join Western Nephrology's Acute Dialysis Team in Lakewood, CO (home base) with travel to multiple hospital sites. Sign-On Bonus Offered$5000 for full time RN paid upon first paycheck • Requires a two (2) year commitment. If you leave prior to completing the work commitment, you will have to pay back the full amount (not a prorated amount).• RNs who have left Western Nephrology within the past 12 months are not eligible for the sign on bonus.• The sign on bonus is taxable.• Eligibility requirements below:o All inpatient and outpatient dialysis RN experience.o New RNs with several years of dialysis tech experience in a chronic setting.o RNs with Med-Surg, ICU, CCU and/or ER experience. Weekly schedule: three 12 hour shifts with a fourth day of on-call from 6p-6a and then off the day after the 12 hour call shift. Key Responsibilities:Patient Assessment and Initiation of — Hemodialysis (HD), Peritoneal Dialysis (APD), Continuous RenalReplacement Therapy (CRRT) and Plasmapheresis (TPE)Electronic and Paper Record Keeping and DocumentationMaintain compliance to company, state and federal requirements Basic Qualifications:Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of ColoradoAssociates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN a plus1+ years of acute hospital and/or outpatient dialysis experience preferredWe will train the right nurse with the desire to learn dialysisFlexible schedule with on call requirementCNN, CDN or CHN a plus Preferred Skills/Experience:Organized with attention to detailBasic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and OutlookExperience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situationsComfortable working autonomously with limited supervisionAbility to quickly form working relationships with team members and hospital nursing partnersDesire to work within a team culture of cohesiveness, support and ongoing educationPhysical Requirement: nurses often have to push/pull large dialysis equipment around the hospital with little to no assistance Western Nephrology is a DRUG FREE WORKPLACE and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
