Job Description Type of Opportunity: Full Time OR PRN FTE: 1.000000 OR 0.001000 Exempt: No Work Schedule: 10 Hour Days Location: Presbyterian Hospital Up to $11,000 sign-on bonus provided. Education: Essential: Associate Degree Credentials: Essential: Reg Cardiovascular Inv Spec Other information: Associates Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program, radiology, Respiratory therapy, paramedic or RCIS; 3 years of related experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Plus 2 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties. RCIS/RCES required or must have RCIS/RCES certification within first year of employment. ACLS & PALS is required within the first 6 months Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
