Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Golden, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,586 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Tech Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Surgical Tech experience, 1 year CVOR scrubbing experience. Must include Cardio experience in resume/profile. License: BLS - American Heart Association Certifications: None required Must-Have: High school diploma or GED is required. Graduation from a formal, accredited surgical technologist program is required. Description: Performs scrub duties and maintains sterile supplies and sterile technique. Assists in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Assembles, organizes, and completes case carts according to doctors’ preference lists. Provides appropriate instrumentation, suture, and all supplies as requested and maintains a sterile environment. May assist surgeon by passing instruments during cases. Counts sponges, needles, blades, and instruments using proper technique and established policy. Assists in maintenance and care of specimens and prepares for laboratory analysis. Handles specimens, implants, dressings, soiled instruments, contaminated materials, and sharps in accordance with established policy and recommended standards of practice. Assists with timely turnover of rooms, including cleanup, replacement, and restocking of supplies and equipment. Cares for instruments and equipment. Promotes mission, vision, and values of the organization and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments based on business needs. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
