Experience in a surgical unit Description: Travel Position: RN
needed for an orthopedic surgery unit. The unit has 20 beds with a
patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. The day shift consists of 1 charge
nurse and 4 nurses. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and
4 nurses. Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech.
Candidates must have experience in orthopedic nursing. Preferred
candidates will have pain management experience. Common procedures
performed include dressing changes and aspirations. The unit
encourages a positive attitude and teamwork among staff. There is a
commitment to enhancing patient experience and achieving quality
outcomes. There is a diverse patient population that includes
elective orthopedic cases and trauma cases. This is a great
