Job Description:
Sky Ridge Medical Center, a pivotal member of HealthONE, is
seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our
Labor and Delivery team. This position requires a dedicated
individual who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment
designed to provide exceptional care through state-of-the-art
facilities. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse at our center, you will
be at the forefront of maternal and newborn health, playing a key
role in one of the most important events in our patients' lives.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, expertise in
nursing practice, and the ability to work collaboratively in a
diverse medical team. Monitor and assess mother and baby's health
before and during labor. Perform prenatal patient assessments and
develop nursing care plans. Assist doctors during delivery and
manage emergency situations. Provide education and support to
mothers and families about postnatal care. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure the
efficacy of treatments through careful monitoring and follow-up
visits. Proficiency in fetal monitoring Strong clinical skills in
labor and delivery Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure Medical

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred
