Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This travel nursing opportunity offers a rewarding role caring for patients in a Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. The position requires an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in stepdown-level care, supporting patients who need close monitoring and specialized neurological care. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro PCU patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care Monitor neurological status and intervene appropriately based on patient condition Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as ordered by physicians Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and assessments Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition, ensuring patient safety Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current RN licensure, eligible for Texas licensure Experience in Neuro Progressive Care or Stepdown nursing required Ability to assess and manage complex neurological conditions Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities ANIHSS certification required (Advanced Neurological Intensive Hospital Skills) Schedule and Location: 7 PM to 7 AM shifts Frisco, TX region with travel flexibility What Makes This Location Special:Frisco, TX, is a vibrant and rapidly growing city known for its family-friendly atmosphere and excellent quality of life.
