accomplished “Pharmacy Technician (PTCB Certified & KY Board

Commerce Drive Louisville, KY 40219 DURATION: 3 months Contract
with high possibility of extension! WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday
| 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM Possible Saturday overtime if requested Work
Arrangement: Week 1: Onsite (side-by-side training) Post Training:
Remote with onsite rotation 2–3 days per month Mandatory Candidate
Requirements (Must Have BOTH) {Candidates must provide PTCB License
Number AND KY BOP registration proof} PTCB Certification (active)
Registered with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY BOP) Pay Rate:
$19.00/hr. Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician supports
pharmacists, physicians, and patients by handling prescription data
entry, managing inbound calls, and assisting with clarification of
physician orders. Medications are prepared and shipped by pharmacy
warehouse staff to patients or providers based on the patient’s
profile. Responsibilities: Enter prescription data into the
pharmacy dispensing system for pharmacist review. Maintain
knowledge of pharmacy policies and government regulations. Assist
with prescription clarifications and update records accordingly.
Calculate medication doses based on prescribing guidelines. Answer
inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers and route
appropriately. Support quality improvement initiatives. Follow
program-specific pharmacy workflows and guidelines. Job
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED PTCB
Certification (required) Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Registration
(required) High School Diploma or GED Strong communication skills
(written and verbal) Ability to read and interpret instructions and
documentation Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Experience working in a team-oriented environment. Preferred
Qualifications : Previous pharmacy data entry experience Experience
handling patient/provider calls (HCP communication) Basic algebra
