Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites you to join our team as a
Registered Nurse at our state-of-the-art Freestanding Emergency
Department. This role is pivotal in providing urgent care in a
community-based setting, autonomous from traditional hospital
facilities. Our department focuses on delivering timely,
patient-centered service in emergencies, furnished with
cutting-edge technology and supported by a multidisciplinary team
dedicated to healthcare excellence. You will be instrumental in
fostering a safe, compassionate environment while managing a
diverse range of medical emergencies. Provide comprehensive nursing
care in emergency situations. Assess patients quickly and
prioritize treatment based on clinical urgency. Administer
medications and treatments accurately and safely. Maintain detailed
patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare
team. Educate patients and families on management of their health
and wellness, including follow-up care. Implement infection control
practices and other safety protocols. Report directly to
departmental managers and advise on areas for service improvement.
Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle high-stress
situations Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills, both oral and written Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN
license in the state of Utah BLS/ACLS certification required PALS
or ENPC certification highly recommended Certified Emergency Nurse
(CEN) certification preferred
