Job Description:
HealthONE seeks a dedicated Nurse Extern in Surgical
Reconstruction, a role critical in supporting our multidisciplinary
surgical teams. This position offers the opportunity to learn and
engage directly with some of the most advanced medical technologies
and reconstruction techniques. The successful candidate will assist
in preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring a high standard of
patient service and clinical support under the supervision of
experienced nurses and physicians. Assist in the preparation and
care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Provide direct and
indirect patient care under supervision. Support the surgical team
in the operating room. Help maintain sterile environments. Document
patient care services by charting in patient and department
records. Ensure operation of medical and administrative equipment
by verifying emergency equipment availability; following
manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions;
maintaining equipment inventories. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work under pressure Detail-oriented
with robust organizational skills Basic understanding of clinical
practices and protocols Ability to maintain a high level of
professionalism and confidentiality Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 3
months of employment. CPR certification preferred
