Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a key component of HealthONE, is seeking
a dedicated Registered Nurse for Pre Admission Testing, committed
to delivering top-tier preoperative care. This role requires a
professional who can effectively evaluate patients before surgery
to ensure safety and optimal health outcomes. As a RN in Pre
Admission Testing, you will work closely with surgeons and
anesthesiologists, leveraging our state-of-the-art facilities to
enhance patient outcomes and uphold our reputation for excellent
patient-centered care. Conduct comprehensive preoperative
assessments, including medical history reviews and necessary
diagnostic tests. Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons
to develop appropriate care plans. Educate patients and families
about surgical procedures and postoperative expectations. Ensure
documentation complies with hospital standards and patient safety
requirements. Monitor patient conditions and report any significant
changes to appropriate healthcare team members. Strong assessment
and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Proficiency
in electronic medical record systems Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred
