tailored to their needs. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you
will play a crucial role in providing care for patients who are
navigating the challenges of substance abuse and mental health
disorders. You will be responsible for managing various nursing
tasks and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Key
Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care and monitor
individuals for changes in health status. Administer medications
and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist in developing
and implementing individual care plans. Educate patients and
families on health management, treatment processes, and recovery
strategies. Document patient progress, comply with care protocols,
and maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate with the
healthcare team to coordinate patient care and support treatment
objectives. Respond to patient emergencies and provide first aid as

leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the
following: CORE JOB DUTIES: 1. Resolve pending issues from the
previous shift, e.g., missed or incomplete labs or treatments,
incomplete admissions or discharges, missing data for continuity of
care. 2. Compliance Audit Related to Infection Control, e.g.,
glucometer, refrigerator, sharps 4 containers, laboratory
cleanliness, pests in facility, hand washing and flu campaign 3.
Medication storage, medication returns, medication destruction,
calling pharmacy to resolve medication issues 4. Order supplies,
inventory management, maintain/organize supply room 5. Monitor and
track lab orders, monitor and track outside consults, track medical
transfers 6. Coordinate and plan the admission workflow, print
Integra and Care 360 requisitions, assure collected samples are
properly labeled 7. Level of Care transfers in Avatar 8.
Administrative functions, e.g., scanning documents into AVATAR,
assisting with the work schedule, assisting BHT's with the
creation/modification of observation sheets 9. Admission and
discharge audits. Check/audit the proper completion of any nursing
procedure (at discretion of DON) to assure compliance. OTHER
REQUIRED TASKS: 1. Demonstrates ability to collaborate with the
treatment team in incorporating medical issues into treatment
planning. 2. Demonstrates ability to participate in regular
department meetings and staff meetings. 3. Demonstrates ability to
interact with clients with compassion and respect. 4. Demonstrates
ability to display good work habits: get things done in a timely,
efficient manner with no excessive absences; is on time for
scheduled shifts and prepared to begin work. 5. Demonstrates
ability to communicate effectively with other staff members and
demonstrate the ability to work as a team member. 6. Demonstrates
ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, responding
positively to changing situations in the work setting. 7.
Demonstrates objectivity and maturity under stress. 8. Demonstrates
ability to accept and utilize supervision. 9. Demonstrates ability
to address problems noted by supervisor. 10. Demonstrates
willingness accept responsibility. 11. Demonstrates ability to
complete all tasks with concern for work quality, timeliness, and 5
efficiency. 12. Demonstrates ability to encourage efficient
utilization of supplies and equipment. 13. Demonstrates the ability
to provide for the preservation of personal dignity of clients. 14.
Demonstrates the ability to report incident occurrences in
accordance with policies and procedures. 15. Demonstrates the
ability to maintain safe physical environment. 16. Demonstrates the
ability to comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines
and standards. 17. Ability to maintain the confidential nature of
all patients and facility activities. 18. Ability to maintain
required Training & Continuing Education. 19. Ability to maintain
Standards of Ethical Conduct. 20. Reports any concerns to immediate
supervisor. 21. Demonstrates ability, to perform additional duties,
as deemed necessary by supervisor. Requirements Qualifications:
Minimum two years' experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
preferred Experience in behavioral health preferred Minimum high
school diploma or equivalent Certification in Practical Nursing or
equivalent as indicated in State law Higher education preferred
Licensed to practice in the State of practice. The Recovery Village
