UCHealth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Surgical Technologist Traveler for our Birth Center. This position plays a pivotal role in offering surgical support in our renowned healthcare facilities across Colorado. The ideal candidate will ensure a sterile environment in the operating room, assist surgeons and medical staff during procedures, and care for patients with compassion and efficiency during their birth experience. Prepare and maintain sterile medical environments before and during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and medical staff by passing instruments and other sterile supplies during operations. Help in the setup and use of surgical equipment and instruments. Follow all hospital regulations and safety procedures to maintain patient care standards. Participate in educational sessions to stay updated on the latest in technological and health safety protocols. Proven ability to maintain sterility in the operating room. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of dexterity and coordination. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
