Registered Nurse specialized in Operating Room (RN-OR) to support
surgical services in a well-equipped hospital environment. This
contract role is based in Louisville, KY, offering a day shift
schedule with rare weekend shifts and a supportive team atmosphere.
Location Overview: Situated in Louisville, KY, this hospital
provides care in a vibrant, community-oriented city known for its

quality living. Key Responsibilities: Deliver perioperative nursing
care in General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics/Spine, Urology,
Gynecology, Vascular, and Pain specialties. Maintain patient care
ratios at 1:1, ensuring close monitoring of outpatient and
inpatient surgical patients. Utilize surgical equipment and Cerner
EMR system to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in on-call
rotation, including weekend coverage and weekday night calls as
specified. Float within the surgical services department as needed,
supporting a collaborative work environment. Adhere strictly to the
surgical dress code and facility protocols. Qualifications &
Experience: Current RN license with 3 years experience in Operating
Room nursing. Preferred experience in Orthopedics and Spine
surgery. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented surgical
setting. Certifications relevant to perioperative nursing are
preferred. Comfortable with Cerner EMR and standard surgical
equipment. Schedule & Contract Details: Day shift, 36-40 hours per
week. Call requirement: 2 weekend calls every 24 days or 1 week of
weekday night call (5 pm-7 am). Contract position with a 50-mile
ban on locals for candidate consideration. This role offers a
