This role combines clinical expertise in cardiac sonography with a passion for education and quality improvement, aimed at enhancing both patient outcomes and sonographic practices. The successful candidate will be instrumental in performing diagnostic procedures, training staff, and leading initiatives to maintain the highest standards of cardiac imaging. Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging tests accurately and efficiently. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to healthcare providers. Develop and implement training programs for new and existing sonography staff. Monitor and evaluate clinical practices and outcomes, advocating for continual improvement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care protocols related to cardiac imaging. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to sonographic procedures. Proficiency in echocardiography and Doppler imaging. Strong analytical skills to interpret sonographic data. Ability to teach and mentor others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of current health regulations and standards.
