This position requires an individual who is equipped to handle a dynamic and high-pressure environment, offering specialized nursing care to patients with acute cardiac conditions. The selected candidate will need to travel to various UCHealth facilities as required, ensuring a consistent and high-quality level of cardiac care. Administer prescribed medications, monitor vitals, and provide detailed assessments of cardiac patients Collaborate with cardiologists, and multi-disciplinary teams to implement effective treatment plans Educate patients and their families on heart health and post-treatment care Ensure continuous care and monitoring for all cardiac patients to prevent complications Manage patient documentation and records with integrity and accuracy Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families Ability to operate and monitor cardiac care equipment Proficient in managing ACU health records on medical software systems Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certified ACLS certified Preferred: Certification in Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (RN-BC)
