Job Description:
Join UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Labor and Delivery
(L&D) Metro Denver Float Pool. This night-time position offers
a dynamic environment where no two nights are the same. As part of
the float pool, you will have the opportunity to work across
various facilities in the Metro Denver area, adapting to different
clinical settings while ensuring the delivery of high-quality,
patient-centered care. This role is perfect for the adaptable nurse
who thrives in varied environments and is committed to supporting
families during the critical moments of labor and delivery. Provide
exceptional patient care to mothers and babies during labor,
delivery, and postpartum stages. Ensure safety and well-being of
patients by adhering to guidelines and medical orders. Adjust
quickly to varying practices and protocols across different
UCHealth facilities. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and
patient records. Assess, monitor, and report on patient condition
during shifts and at handover. Administer medications and perform
diagnostic tests as prescribed. Coordinate with healthcare team to
optimize labor and delivery procedures and patient outcomes.
Proficient in fetal monitoring and obstetric protocols. Strong
clinical skills in a labor and delivery setting. Ability to adapt
to various clinical environments. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS and NRP
certifications preferred.
