HCA Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Neuro Intensive Care Unit team. This role focuses on providing specialized care to patients with severe neurological issues in a highly collaborative hospital environment. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Instruct and educate patients and families on treatment plans. Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. Direct and supervise care delivered by other healthcare personnel like LPNs and nurse aides. Participate in the development and modifications of patient care plans. Handle patient with complex critical neurological issues that require high intensity therapies and interventions. Strong clinical skills with a focus on neurological patient care. Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to make swift decisions in a high-pressure environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice. BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification is preferred but not required.
