Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Geriatric Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team, focused on
providing exceptional geriatric psychiatric care at our advanced
facilities. This role involves directly working with elderly
patients who are experiencing mental health issues such as
dementia, depression, and anxiety. The ideal candidate will deliver
patient-centered care, assess psychological needs, and collaborate
with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized
care plans. At HCA Healthcare, we enhance the wellbeing of our
patients and hone the professional skills of our staff, all within
a supportive and caring environment. Assess, plan, and administer
nursing care to elderly patients with mental health needs.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare
professionals to formulate comprehensive care plans. Monitor
patient progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment
plan. Educate patients and their families on managing mental health
conditions and promote wellness strategies. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and maintaining accurate patient records.
Expert knowledge in geriatric psychiatry Strong assessment and
patient monitoring skills Ability to develop and follow through
with care plans Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in using healthcare databases and patient management

Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Certified
Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) preferred BLS/CPR Certification
