Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a pivotal entity within HealthONE, seeks
a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular
Operating Room (CVOR) practices. As a CVOR Nurse, you will join a
team committed to exceptional patient care and advanced surgical
interventions. The role includes working closely with
cardiovascular surgeons, providing direct nursing care in a
high-stakes environment, and managing pre- and post-operative
patient care. This position demands precision, an aptitude for
working under pressure, and a passion for healthcare excellence.
Assist in cardiovascular surgeries ensuring sterility and
operational efficiency. Monitor and provide care for patients
throughout the surgical process, from preparation to recovery.
Administer medications, document surgery procedures, and
collaborate with healthcare professionals. Educate patients and
their families on surgical processes and post-operative care.
Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Familiarity with
operating room protocols Expertise in patient assessment and
critical thinking Ability to manage stress and make precise
