Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a leader in healthcare excellence and
part of the HealthONE network, is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU III team on a PRN
basis. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a
state-of-the-art facility known for its patient-centered approach
and advanced medical technologies. The selected candidate will
provide critical care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting,
working closely with a team of specialized professionals to support
health and development outcomes for newborns requiring intensive
medical attention. Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically
ill neonates in a Level III NICU. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care
plans. Monitor and record patient conditions, responding to
emergent needs to ensure patient stability. Educate and support
parents and families, understanding their crucial role in the care
and development of their infants. Maintain accurate patient records
and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
Advanced knowledge of neonatal care and interventions. Ability to
operate and monitor NICU equipment such as incubators and
ventilators. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to provide empathy and reassurance to families. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. BLS certified;
ACLS preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
required.
