Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare seeks a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Care department. This
position offers the opportunity to work within a leading healthcare
system known for its commitment to innovation and quality care. As
an Intermediate Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in the
recovery of patients who are stable yet still require close
monitoring and complex assessments. You will work alongside a team
of skilled professionals in a supportive and collaborative
environment designed to foster healing and wellness. Monitor and
assess the health status of patients in intermediate care,
identifying changes in condition and responding appropriately.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and support patient
participation in recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
healthcare teams to implement comprehensive care plans. Educate
patients and families on health conditions and post-hospital care.
Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports on patients'
progress. Ensure adherence to all facility, local, and federal
regulations and standards. Strong clinical skills and knowledge in
health assessment and acute care Ability to operate medical
equipment and perform complex interventions Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving
abilities Capability to work collaboratively in a high-stress

Life Insurance 401k Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the
state of Utah BLS and ACLS certification required Certification in
Intermediate Care Nursing preferred
