Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare, a leader in cutting-edge healthcare
services, is seeking a Registered Charge Nurse for our Acuity
Adaptable Unit. This critical role involves overseeing nursing
staff and managing patient care in a flexible environment that
adapts to the acuity of patients, from intensive care to less acute
conditions. This position requires a dynamic nurse leader who can
effectively manage changing scenarios and ensure the highest
standards of care are maintained consistently. Lead, direct, and
evaluate the nursing staff within the unit. Coordinate with
healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by
patients' responses and conditions. Monitor all aspects of patient
care, including diet and physical activity. Prepare patients for,
and assist with, examinations and treatments. Maintain up-to-date
records of patients' health. Consult and coordinate with healthcare
team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans Handle scheduling, admissions, discharges, and staffing
rotations. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to make quick and
effective decisions. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR)
systems. Adaptability to varying levels of patient acuity. Medical

Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah.
BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Certification in specialty area encouraged.
