Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the role of
Inpatient Registered Clinical Dietitian in one of our esteemed
health facilities. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible
for assessing, diagnosing, and treating dietary and nutritional
problems at an individual level. You will closely collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to design and implement nutritional
strategies that enhance patient health and manage various medical
conditions. Our commitment to excellence in patient care requires a
dedicated professional who is knowledgeable in the latest nutrition
science and adherent to ethical medical practices. Your expertise
will contribute significantly to our multidisciplinary healthcare
team, ensuring both the well-being of patients and the continued
innovation of our healthcare services. Conduct nutritional
assessments and interviews with patients to understand their
dietary needs and health goals. Develop and implement dietary care
plans and provide nutritional counseling. Coordinate with
physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate
dietary plans with medical treatments. Monitor and document patient
progress and adjust dietary plans as needed. Participate in
research and case studies to further nutrition science and its
practical applications within the hospital. Provide training to
healthcare staff on the latest nutrition guidelines and techniques.
Advocate for patient nutritional needs and work towards enhancing
the dietary services offered by the hospital. Ensure compliance
with hospital standards and nutritional practices according to
state and federal regulations. Expert knowledge of nutritional
evaluation and counseling. Ability to design and implement
effective nutrition programs. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficient in using healthcare software and
patient data systems. Adept at conducting research and interpreting
data. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification. Licensed
Dietitian status in the state of Utah.
