Job Description:
Stellar Living, a leader in senior healthcare services, is
seeking an experienced and compassionate Treatment Nurse
specializing in Wound Care to join our dedicated team. This
position focuses on providing top-tier wound care management and
treatment in our senior living facilities that range from
independent living to memory care units. The ideal candidate will
be skilled in the latest wound care therapies and enthusiastic
about improving the quality of life for our residents through
expert care and a tailored approach to individual health needs.
Assess, plan, and implement wound care treatments for residents,
according to the latest clinical guidelines. Monitor healing
progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary, maintaining
comprehensive documentation for all care activities. Educate
residents, families, and staff on wound care prevention and
treatment strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to
ensure holistic care that aligns with each resident's health plan.
Stay updated with advancements in wound care and participate in
continuing education to improve knowledge and skills. Proficiency
in modern wound care techniques and products Strong organizational
and communicative abilities Ability to work independently as well
as part of a multidisciplinary team Empathy and patience with an
elderly population Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification
in Wound Care Nursing (CWCN) preferred but not required
