Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical
Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is committed to improving the
physical capabilities and daily lives of students with special
needs. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing physical
therapy plans to help students achieve optimal outcomes. This role
involves working closely with licensed Physical Therapists and
educational staff to administer exercises, treatments, and
activities tailored to enhance each student's physical functioning
within an educational environment. Assist Physical Therapists in
the preparation and implementation of treatment plans. Help
students perform specific exercises as part of their therapy.
Document student progress and communicate with educators and
parents. Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment. Adapt
activities to meet the needs of individual students. Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings to review and plan student care.
Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and practices.
Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of
child development and various disabilities affecting children.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid
Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR certified.
Preferably trained in paediatric care.
