Evaluate patients' functional status and occupational therapy needs, specifically in an acute care setting. Develop and implement therapy plans based on clinical judgment and evidence-based practice. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing management strategies. Document patient progress and therapy outcomes for medical records and treatment evaluation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Maintain patient safety and confidentiality adhering to healthcare regulations and standards. Strong knowledge of acute care processes and occupational therapy practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Keen analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using medical software for patient records and documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. BLS/CPR certification required.
