Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Orthopedics /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Seasonal travel position /n• Work independently managing 5 patients with 1:5 nursing ratio /n• Experience in surgical unit required /n• Work on 20-bed medical surgical orthopedics unit (MS ORTHO 612) /n• Located on 9th floor South of Main Hospital /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Perform dressing changes and aspiration procedures /n• Pain management experience preferred /n• Orthopedic experience preferred /n• Must demonstrate positive attitude and team player mentality /n• Care for diverse patient population including elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma patients /n• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a dedicated 20-bed orthopedics unit focusing on comprehensive surgical care and patient outcomes.
