Job Description:
UCHealth seeks a dedicated and skilled registered nurse to join
our Neuro ICU team at our state-of-the-art facility in Colorado.
This challenging and rewarding role requires a high level of
expertise in neurocritical care, where you will be pivotal in
providing exceptional care to patients with severe neurological
issues. Our rotating shifts ensure comprehensive around-the-clock
care, allowing you to collaborate with leading neuro specialists
and healthcare professionals within a supportive and innovative
environment. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to
patients in the neuro ICU. Monitor patient progress and adjust
treatments based on physician directives and best practices.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and
ongoing management of their medical condition. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to facilitate coordinated patient care.
Participate in research and continuing education related to
advancements in neurocritical care. Ensure that all caregiving
procedures and protocols comply with hospital policies and state
and federal regulations. Strong clinical skills competent at
handling severe neurological illnesses. Ability to operate and
monitor neuro ICU-specific technology and equipment. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Critical-thinking and
problem-solving skills. Capability to handle stress and make swift
decisions in emergencies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado. Certification in Critical Care Nursing
(CCRN) preferred, especially neuro-specific CCRN.
