Swedish Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our state-of-the-art Catheterization Lab. The selected candidate will be pivotal in providing expert nursing care in a highly technical and professional setting, where the ability to respond swiftly and accurately to varying situations is paramount. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and consult with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Administer medications accurately, observing patient response, as evidenced by documentation in the medical record and lack of negative outcomes. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of critical ICU patient. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Prepare patients and assist in patient examinations and treatments. Maintain continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle high-stress situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detailed understanding of safety protocols and infection control standards Ability to operate complex machinery and monitoring equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing is highly valued
