Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Med Surg position on night shift, requiring a CO or compact RN license and recent neurotrauma experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Neuro Med Surg unit within a hospital setting - Patient population includes neurotrauma and neurological medical-surgical cases - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - 13-week seasonal travel contract - Provide care for patients with neurotrauma and complex neurological conditions - Night shift schedule may include weekends and holidays as required by hospital needs - Applicants must be able to provide all required documentation for licensure and certifications - First time travelers may be considered if all other requirements are met /n /n Requirements/n - Active CO or compact RN license required - Minimum of 1 year recent specialty experience in neurotrauma or neuro med/surg - At least 2 years of clinical experience required if applying for facilities in HCA Far West - N CA Region - Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required - NIH Stroke Certification required - No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months - U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration - One professional reference required; two if licensed in Florida or Missouri - No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-619350.
