Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a proud member of the HealthONE network,
is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our
Surgical Cardiology team. This role involves providing top-tier
nursing care in a cardiac surgery setting, working closely with
surgeons and other medical professionals to optimize patient
outcomes. Our facility is equipped with the latest in medical
technology, enabling our staff to deliver superior care with
compassion and precision. Ideal candidates will have a robust
background in cardiology and surgical care, coupled with a passion
for patient health and recovery. Assess, plan, and implement
nursing care for cardiac surgery patients pre- and post-operation.
Monitor patient vital signs and progress, adjusting care plans as
necessary. Educate patients and families on surgical procedures,
post-op care, and lifestyle adjustments needed for recovery and
ongoing health. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all legal and
hospital procedures. Proficient in cardiac care and surgical
nursing practices. Ability to operate and monitor surgical
equipment and technology. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Capability to handle high-stress environments and make
critical decisions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of employment. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Certification in
Cardiovascular Nursing (CVRN) preferred.
