Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse
(RN) specialized in Surgical Cardiology for weekend shifts. This
position involves providing critical care to patients who are
undergoing or recovering from cardiac surgeries. Employing the
latest medical technologies and adhering to the highest standards
of patient safety and care, the ideal candidate will join a dynamic
team of professionals committed to healthcare excellence in a
supportive and forward-thinking environment. Assess, plan, and
implement nursing care for cardiac surgery patients. Monitor
patient vitals and recovery progress post-operation. Administer
medications and maintain detailed patient records. Educate patients
and their families on post-surgical care and lifestyle adjustments.
Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, and other healthcare
professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in using
medical software and patient management systems. Strong ability to
work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and quick
decision-making abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Certification.
