Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a leading entity of HealthONE, is
seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Orthopedic Spine unit
to work weekends. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment
to providing exceptional patient-centered care in our
state-of-the-art facilities. The ideal candidate will administer
nursing care to patients undergoing spine and orthopedic
procedures, ensuring comfort, support, and holistic care in
alignment with our high standards. This role requires a
compassionate approach and a strong aptitude for patient care, with
a special focus on orthopedic and spinal health. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients based
on the application of scientific nursing principles. Assess patient
health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care
plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to
ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients
on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case
management. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or
provide treatment. Supervise less experienced nurses and assist
with their training. Strong knowledge of orthopedic and spinal
conditions and treatments High proficiency in using medical
software for patient management Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work effectively in a high-stress
environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred
Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC) credential is advantageous
