Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a leading figure in patient-centered

seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Oncology to join our oncology
department. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care
to oncology patients, facilitating cancer treatment and managing
symptoms associated with cancer and its treatment. The ideal
candidate will thrive in our state-of-the-art facilities,
contributing to our mission of delivering superior healthcare
services through compassion, medical innovation, and personalized
patient care. Assess, plan, and administer nursing care to cancer
patients before, during, and after treatment. Educate patients and
their families on disease processes, treatment, and self-care
skills. Monitor patient's condition, report changes to doctors, and
handle patient emergencies effectively. Administer medications,
manage side effects, and document all patient interactions.
Collaborate with the oncology team to facilitate coordinated and
comprehensive care. Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and
managing its side effects Strong understanding of oncology diseases
and treatments Expertise in IV therapy and central line management
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work
collaboratively in multi-disciplinary healthcare teams Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid RN license in the state of employment Oncology Certified
Nurse (OCN) credential preferred
