UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare in Colorado, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D) Birth Center for the night shift. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment focused on delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. As an RN in our Birth Center, you will play a key role in managing all stages of labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and comforting experience for patients and their families. Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for patients during labor and delivery. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and postpartum periods. Administer medications and perform medical interventions as ordered by physicians. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care. Educate patients and families on postnatal care and lactation best practices. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progression. Respond promptly to emergencies or complications during all stages of labor. Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of medical technologies and software relevant to labor and delivery Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
