In this dynamic role, you will be essential in delivering top-tier medical care in a supportive and innovative environment. This position is crucial for providing expert nursing care to a diverse population of patients recovering from surgery, acute illness, or managing chronic conditions. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, this role ensures the highest standards of care are maintained, adjusting treatments as patient needs evolve throughout their stay. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit based on best practices. Monitor patient conditions and update treatment plans based on evolving needs. Administer medications safely, and ensure all treatments are carried out as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and post-hospital care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and rights are protected. Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting Critical thinking and problem-solving Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
