Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a premier provider within HealthONE, is
currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Nurse
Lactation Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a leader in

breastfeeding mothers. This role will be pivotal in enhancing
maternal and child health by providing specialized lactation care
and support. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate,

improvement. Assess and provide appropriate lactation care plans
for breastfeeding mothers and infants. Educate families on the
benefits of breastfeeding and techniques to ensure successful
nursing. Address and resolve any breastfeeding issues such as
latching difficulties, painful nursing, and low milk production.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate lactation
services into individual care plans. Document all patient
interactions and care provided in relation to lactation
consultation. Stay updated with the latest lactation research and
guidelines to ensure evidence-based practice. Provide empathetic
support and encouragement to breastfeeding mothers. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to educate and
coach effectively. Deep knowledge of breastfeeding techniques and
challenges. Proficiency in developing and implementing care plans.

Consultant (IBCLC) credential required.
