Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cath lab
experience - Cardiac monitoring skills - Knowledge of EKG rhythms -
Familiarity with cardiac drugs Description: The role involves
monitoring vital signs of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
The nurse will assist with the preparation and administration of
cardiac medications. Candidates should have experience with EMR
systems, specifically EPIC. Knowledge of equipment used in the cath
lab, including balloon pumps and Impella, is essential. The nurse
will work as a circulator/monitor for cath lab patients. There are
an average of 2-6 cases per day. Scheduling includes a rotating day
off and on-call duties averaging 8-10 days per month. Weekend
on-call requirements are expected. Responsiveness to calls should
be within 30 minutes. Floating to other departments may be required
based on experience. A willingness to collaborate with
interventionalists is essential. The manager will oversee the
