(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is
available for experienced Registered Nurses with specialty skills
in Orthopedics and Spine to support a high-volume surgical unit
focused on spine, joint, and hip preservation procedures. This
contract role offers the chance to apply your expertise in a
dynamic, fast-paced environment utilizing advanced operating room
technology and working alongside a dedicated team of surgical
professionals. Location: Arvada, CO (with the assignment based at a
cutting-edge surgical center in the Denver metro area) Role
Highlights: Support surgeries including hip, knee, and shoulder
joint replacements, arthroscopic sports medicine procedures, hip
preservation cases, and spinal repairs and fusions Collaborate with
an established team of 26 full-time staff in 13 operating rooms
Work day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM with flexible scheduling options
Engage with state-of-the-art surgical equipment and EMR systems
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current certification as a
Nursing - Operating Room Technician (ORT) or equivalent experience
in perioperative nursing Orthopedic surgical experience essential,
including sports medicine and total joint procedures Spine surgical
experience required NBSTA (National Board Surgical Technologist and
Surgical Assisting) and DORA certifications necessary Ability to
thrive in a fast-paced surgical OR environment and work effectively
with diverse personalities Responsibilities: Prepare operating
rooms for orthopedic and spine surgeries Assist surgical teams in
arthroscopic, joint replacement, and spinal procedures Maintain
strict adherence to safety and unit policies while ensuring patient
care standards Support efficient surgical workflows and patient
