Sterile Processing Tech Location: Aurora, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,612 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a certified sterile processing technician, with at least 2 years at a trauma level 1 facility. License: Must have national certification. Certifications: CBSPD, CFER, or CER. Must-Have: Endoscopy experience and certification. Description: This position requires a certified sterile processing technician with significant experience in a trauma level 1 facility. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing. Out of the 3 years, at least 2 years must be at a trauma level 1 facility. Candidates with 1.5 years of trauma experience will be considered if they have a total of 3 years of experience. The technician will work nights, specifically from Monday to Friday, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend shifts are not required for this position. Prior experience in a high-acuity hospital setting is preferred. Candidates must possess certifications such as CBSPD, CFER, or CER. BLS certification is also required. There is no on-call requirement for this position. The job involves the operation of various sterilization equipment and processing of surgical instruments. Additional knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes and ensuring compliance with safety standards is essential. A maximum of 10 RTO days are allowed during the contract period, with specific blackout dates outlined. Candidates must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure proper sterilization and inventory management of surgical instruments.
